This course helps students to know Switzerland and basic Swiss hospitality operations, the process through which organizations analyse, plan, implement, and control programs to develop and maintain beneficial ex-changes with target buyers. Effective basic hands-on learning is critical for the long-term success of any studies. This function also ensures that the student attracts, retains, and grows by creating, delivering, and communicating properly in an international environment.



Starting from the tender age of 18, we offer diplomas up to an MBA. All our courses, with the exception of languages are taught in English. This gives the base requirement of an advanced standard of English. Should there be any queries, we also offer an internal exam to examine each application if needed. Class Times: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 12:00 pm, 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm Intakes we have four intakes per year: January, April, July, and October


Our tuition fees include all aspects of school life: Accommodation, Food, Health Insurance, Visa, Uniform, Swiss Travel Cards, and Laptop Note: New students have to pay a total amount of CHF 24000. If students continue their studies in the following years, the fee will be CHF 15000-16200 for each consecutive year of studies.


Studying the theory to become a leader, also requires that it can later be applied in the real world. That is why our internships are a vital experience towards becoming a true leader. After each semester our students will be given the opportunity to work for 4-6 months in the hospitality industry. Much of our industry is based upon great communication skills. There is no better lesson, than to be integrated in a new environment, learning to work with a new team and to prove ones worth. This gives our students the possibility to grow in confidence and gain the respect of other members of our industry. Being able to graduate with international accepted degrees as well as having been able to absolve multiple internships with working certificates, prepares our students to be in a leading role when they go out in search for the first step of their career. It must also be mentioned that the internships in Switzerland are paid (CHF 2’300 to 2’500/ Month). So this gives the incredible opportunity for some students to be able to finance part of their education. Our Internship support officer provides useful tips and also can direct you to the internship that most interests you. We have great connections in the hospitality industry and are proud to be able to introduce our students to them.


Truly Swiss AG hosts two hotel management schools in Switzerland namely Swiss Institute for management and Hospitality (SWISS IMH) and Swiss College of Hospitality Management Lenk (SHML). Swiss Institute for Management and Hospitality (SWISS IM&H) is a hospitality management school in the Canton of Lucerne in Switzerland. 2012 is extremely busy time for the school and also a year of one extravagant achievement. Getting prepared for the EDUQUA certification motivated and fortified the staffs of the SWISS IM&H as professional hospitality educational mentors to comply with the world class hospitality educational quality. In January 2012, SWISS IM&H extended the space and facilities at Kantonstrasse 85, 6353 Weggis to all of level 4 of the building which is situated by the tremendous location and on the shore of Lake Lucerne. The newly renovated campus includes a new library, lecture rooms, computer lab, boardrooms, student learning areas and nice viewed accommodations. Students and visitors comment about the new facilities are still very positive since then and that is one of the critical success factors of SWISS IM&H.

It is not till one dream of SWISS IM&H came true since its establishment. It is school’s own bar. In the beginning of 2012, the new director made it happen and SWISS IM&H gladly introduces the ”American Bar” as its own property. In American Bar, the students will take part in their practical beverage management lessons and they get a very up to date knowledge on menu engineering and beverage store management. Students will be able to organize different events such as birthday parties, ice-breaking parties etc in American Bar. It is today a very important meeting point for students of Hotel Management Schools in Canton Lucerne such as SWISS IM&H, DCT and Belvoirpark. SWISS IM&H is very much focused on student’s integration in Switzerland; therefore the bar is publicly opened. This gives our students an opportunity of meeting regional guests and communicates with them, which helps them to improve their linguistic skills. SWISS IM&H is very concerned about student’s mental and physical motivation. Besides all other courses SWISS IM&H is offering so called ”INFOTAINMENT.” On the last Friday afternoon of the month students are inspired to arrange cultural programmes to introduce different cultures and to justify their teamwork ability and leading capabilities. 2012 is an extremely successful year for SWISS IM&H as British Hospitality Association (BHA), American Hotel and Lodging Association (AH&LA), International and Euro CHRIE, West Coast University (WCU), International University of Business Agriculture and technology (IUBAT) has signed agreement of collaboration. EURHODIP is in negotiations to accredit the curriculum and the value chain of SWISS IM&H. The students’ responses increased to almost huge scale and the responses from increased number of different nationalities is confirming us a new multinational environment in SWISS IM&H campus.

In 2012 and 2013 another challenge and ambition for SWISS IM&H is to get accreditation form ISO (International Organization for Standardization) which is one of the most important certifying bodies for any Swiss Hotel Management Schools. University of Gloucestershire is a very reputed research university in the UK. SWISS IM&H and SHML has an academic agreement with the University of Gloucestershire so that our students can finish the final year in UoG campus. In that way, our students will have the possibilities to earn a dual degree in the bachelor and master level from SWISS IM&H and from the University of Gloucestershire.

SWISS IM&H is a member of EDUQUA since 2012. EDUQUA is recommended by the immigration authorities and by the education department of Canton of Lucerne.
